However, this group is so much more than that. The characters and personalities outside the pitch is what has made the biggest impression on me. I would really like to mention them all, but when I started to do so, I quickly realized the list is very, very long. Hence, the conclusion is that Arsenal consists of a group of players who each has the humility and commitment that has characterized both the daily work at the training ground and in the matches throughout the season. I am sure that it is this combination of unique talent and human qualities at the highest level that has created the team’s winning culture. I am proud to have been your teammate both on and off the pitch.

I want to thank the manager and his staff for believing that my talent and human qualities could play a role at the absolute highest level in England and in Europe. I am also proud of what I have been able to contribute on the way to the Premier League title and to the finals in both the Champions League and the Carabao Cup. Still, I am aware that my role has been more as a squad player and in that role I have done the best I could. I must admit that the lack of playing time has been harder to come by than I have expressed so far, and hope that a new chapter in a fantastic football club can change that. Therefore, my first season at Arsenal will also be my only one at this incredible club.

Thank you to everyone in and around the team for some unforgettable moments, and thank you to all the fans for your support in both good and, not least, difficult times. I will miss you all and everything.—Christian Nørgaard
