Bloomberg: The record high for the S&P 500 came after a two-month gap (43 trading days to be exact).... This type of breakout, after a drought of more than 40 days, has happened on 22 other occasions in the past 30 years. The S&P 500 was higher six months and 12 months later in more than 70% of those episodes.
