Warner Mendenhall, the Akron attorney and founder of Freedom Counsel, passed away early this morning after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was a longtime advocate for medical freedom, informed consent, and people injured by COVID vaccines and mandates. He represented whistleblowers like Brook Jackson and took on difficult cases others avoided, often pro bono.

He sounded like a genuinely kind and principled person from the community. My condolences to his family and friends in Akron.
